CAR WASH SUCCESSFUL!
The first Beta Club event of the year was held on September 8th. Students gathered in the preschool house driveway to participate in a car wash. As the Cougar Invitational Soccer Tournament went on, students washed the cars of parents, other students, and those from the opposing teams for free. The money that was donated to the club will be used to help pay for expenses in future projects.

Calvary Christian School Beta Club Induction Ceremony
October 10, 2007
Calvary Christian School held the annual induction ceremony for its chapter of the National Beta Club on Wednesday, October 10. Thirty-seven new members were inducted into the club making the total membership 65 students in 10th – 12th grades. The Beta Club is a service-oriented club with its purpose being to promote, recognize and train students in the areas of character, achievement, service and leadership. Already this year, Beta Club members have organized a car wash, volunteered at FunFest, and sent Pastor Appreciation Cards to local pastors. Other activities planned for the school year include, collecting canned goods and coats for FairHaven Rescue Mission, serving at the Ronald McDonald House, caroling at the airport, working at our school auction and much more. The Beta Club motto is, “Let Us Lead By Serving Others”, and provides a wonderful opportunity for students to put others first.
